1. Ekadashi kya hoti hai?

Ekadashi har paksha ki 11vi tithi ko aati hai. Is din Bhagwan Vishnu ki pooja aur upvas kiya jata hai. Is vrat ka uddeshya sharir ko halka karna, mann ko shant rakhna aur bhakti ko majboot banana hota hai.

Hindu dharm me Ekadashi ko manasik & sharirik shuddhi ka din maana jata hai. Jo log simple spiritual discipline chahte hain, unke liye ye sabse upyogi vrat hai.

2. Ekadashi ki types (simple explain)

  • Shukla Paksha Ekadashi: Growth, positivity & spiritual upliftment.
  • Krishna Paksha Ekadashi: Inner cleansing, discipline & mind control.
  • Year me total lagbhag 24 Ekadashi hoti hain (kabhi leap year me 26 bhi).

3. Importance (simple points)

  • Mann ko shant banati hai — overthinking & restlessness kam hota hai.
  • Upvas se digestion & metabolism improve hota hai.
  • Bhagwan Vishnu ki kripa — negative habit control me madad.
  • Discipline, concentration & clarity badhti hai.

4. Simple Ekadashi vrat niyam (beginner-friendly)

  1. Ekadashi ke ek din pehle: Light sattvik food khayein.
  2. Upvas styles: • Nirjala (sirf paani bhi nahi) • Jal–upvas (sirf paani) • Falahaar (phal, milk, dry fruits)
  3. Do’s: Vishnu mantra jap, mala, bhajan, simple meditation.
  4. Don’ts: Anger, garlic–onion, heavy food, negative talk.
  5. Sharirik limitation ho: Falahaar ya light food le sakte hain.

5. Parana (vrat todna) ka sahi samay

Ekadashi ke agle din Dwadashi tithi me parana kiya jata hai. Parana ka time local panchang me clearly diya hota hai. Maximum benefit tab hota hai jab parana time ke andar hi vrat toda jaye.

6. Ek simple Ekadashi home puja

  1. Bhagwan Vishnu ke samne diya jalaayein.
  2. Tulsi patra chadhaayein (sabse shubh).
  3. “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” ka jap karein.
  4. Vishnu Sahasranama ya simple bhajan padhein.
  5. Ant me prarthana — shanti, health & positive guidance ke liye.

7. Ekadashi dates note

Ekadashi ki exact dates aapke sheher ki sunrise timings ke hisaab se thodi change ho sakti hain.
